Psalm 78:70-72
70 He chose David also his servant,
and took him from the sheepfolds:
71 From following the ewes great
with young he brought him to feed
Jacob his people, and Israel his
72 So he fed them according to the
integrity of his heart; and guided
them by the skilfulness of his hands.

John 14:2,5,6
2 In my Father's house are many
mansions: if it were not so, I would
have told you. I go to prepare a
place for you.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we
know not whither thou goest; and how
can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the
way, the truth, and the life: no man
cometh unto the Father, but by me.

136:32-1 Chapter 6: Science, Theology, Medicine

Chapter 6: Science, Theology, Medicine
The rights of woman acknowledged
morally, civilly, and socially.

Christmas Eve (2)

For heaven's Christus, earthly Eves,
By Adam bid,
Make merriment on Christmas eves,
O'er babe and crib.

Thy kingdom is come,
 Thou art ever-present.

(Doubting disciples)
Jesus patiently persisted in teaching and demonstrating the
truth of being.

137:8-11,16 Chapter 6: Science, Theology, Medicine

Yearning to be understood, the Master repeated, "But whom say
ye that I am?" This renewed inquiry meant: Who or what is it
that is able to do the work, so mysterious to the popular mind?
(A divine response)
With his usual impetuosity, Simon replied for his brethren, and
his reply set forth a great fact: "Thou art the Christ, the Son of
the living God!" That is: The Messiah is what thou hast declared,
- Christ, - the spirit of God, of Truth, Life, and Love, which
heals mentally. This assertion elicited from Jesus the
benediction, "Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood
hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven;"
that is, Love hath shown thee the way of Life!

138:6 Chapter 6: Science, Theology, Medicine

(Sublime summary)
It was now evident to Peter that divine Life, Truth, and Love,
and not a human personality, was the healer of the sick and a
rock, a firm foundation in the realm of harmony. On this
spiritually scientific basis Jesus explained his cures, which
appeared miraculous to outsiders. He showed that diseases were
cast out neither by corporeality, by materia medica, nor by
hygiene, but by the divine Spirit, casting out the errors of
mortal mind. The supremacy of Spirit was the foundation on which
Jesus built. His sublime summary points to the religion of Love.

286:9-13 Chapter 10: Science of Being

Chapter 10: Science of Being
Divine Science understood and acknowledged.

I thank Thee O Father,...

Thus olden faith's pale star now blends
In seven-hued white!
Life, without birth and without end,
Emitting light!

Give us grace for to-day;
feed the famished affections.

Cardinal point 3 - Column 3 - Extended

(Salvation is through reform)
The Master said, "No man cometh unto the Father [the divine
Principle of being] but by me," Christ, Life, Truth, Love; for
Christ says, "I am the way." Physical causation was put aside from
first to last by this original man, Jesus.
