- Section 1 -
22 For Moses truly said unto the
fathers, A prophet shall the Lord
your God raise up unto you of your
brethren, like unto me; him shall ye
hear in all things whatsoever he
shall say unto you.
6 For unto us a child is born, unto
us a son is given: and the government
shall be upon his shoulder: and his
name shall be called Wonderful,
Counsellor, The mighty God, The
everlasting Father, The Prince of
7 Of the increase of his government
and peace there shall be no end, upon
the throne of David, and upon his
kingdom, to order it, and to
establish it with judgment and with
justice from henceforth even for
ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts
will perform this.
18 #Now the birth of Jesus Christ
was on this wise: When as his mother
Mary was espoused to Joseph, before
they came together, she was found
with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a
just man, and not willing to make her
a publick example, was minded to put
her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these
things, behold, the angel of the Lord
appeared unto him in a dream, saying,
Joseph, thou son of David, fear not
to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for
that which is conceived in her is of
the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a son,
and thou shalt call his name JESUS:
for he shall save his people from
22 Now all this was done, that it
might be fulfilled which was spoken
of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with
child, and shall bring forth a son,
and they shall call his name
Emmanuel, which being interpreted is,
God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from
sleep did as the angel of the Lord
had bidden him, and took unto him his
25 And knew her not till she had
brought forth her firstborn son: and
he called his name JESUS.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us, (and we beheld his
glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father,) full of
grace and truth.
18 No man hath seen God at any
time; the only begotten Son, which is
in the bosom of the Father, he hath

Christ Healing (1)
|In tender mercy, Spirit sped |
A loyal ray
To rouse the living, wake the dead,
And point the Way -
Our Father-Mother God, all-harmonious.
point 3 - Column 1 - Extended
The illumination of Mary's spiritual sense put to silence
material law and its order of generation, and brought forth her
child by the revelation of Truth, demonstrating God as the Father
of men. The Holy Ghost, or divine Spirit, overshadowed the pure
sense of the Virgin-mother with the full recognition that being is
Spirit. The Christ dwelt forever an idea in the bosom of God, the
divine Principle of the man Jesus, and woman perceived this
spiritual idea, though at first faintly developed.

Christ's silent healing, heaven heard,
Crowns the pale brow.
And forgive us our debts,

(The divine life-link)
"The Word was made flesh." Divine Truth must be known by its
effects on the body as well as on the mind, before the Science of
being can be demonstrated. Hence its embodiment in the incarnate
Jesus, - that life-link forming the connection through which the
real reaches the unreal, Soul rebukes sense, and Truth destroys

Divine Science encompassing the universe and man;...
Truth versus error
|To-day, as oft, away from sin |
Christ summons thee!
Truth pleads to-night: Just take Me in!
No mass for Me!
God leadeth us not into temptation, but delivereth us from sin, disease, and death.

Question 17. - Is it important to understand these explanations
in order to heal the sick?
ADAM = An unreality as opposed to the great reality
of spiritual existence and creation.
(Sonship of Jesus)
Jesus called himself "the Son of man," but not the son of
Joseph. As woman is but a species of the genera, he was literally
the Son of Man. Jesus was the highest human concept of the
perfect man. He was inseparable from Christ, the Messiah, - the
divine idea of God outside the flesh.

(-11- Christ Jesus)
XI. Jesus was the son of a virgin. He was appointed to speak
God's word and to appear to mortals in such a form of humanity as
they could understand as well as perceive.
